Dear Flawless Friends,

The Flawless team is back from LA where we had an incredible “Evening of Gratitude” at Fred Segal. We were close to having a full house with 200 guests and the night was filled with heart, soul, and awareness. Special thanks to Darrylynn Kaun of Zero Minus Plus for hosting us, Gratitude Designs by Tara Dixon, and our amazing committee. We loved seeing our friends who flew in from all over the country to attend and we are so grateful for all of our new friends in LA. A large percentage of the proceeds from this event will go to expanding our programs in this city of angels.

In addition to the festivities, part of the evening was dedicated to educating our guests about brain disorders and the discrimination that affects people. In attendance was Steve Truitt who spoke about his work on the documentary, Born Schizophrenic – a story of the Schofield family and their journey with their young daughter Jani’s challenges. We also had a thought provoking Q and A session where people were activated to do and learn more.

One of the highlights of the evening was at the after party hosted by Debi Mae West and Vanessa Schreiber of Soul by the Sea where Grammy award winning musician and philanthropic activist, Moby, talked with us about holistic care and destigmatizing mental health issues. We are honored to have him as a friend who is very passionate about our mission and cause.

Flawless Board Member, Robin Janis, will match every dollar donated up to a total of $25,000. We are pleased to announce that Robin will make an additional gift of $25,000 if we hit that $25,000 mark by January 15th. We are already half way there!
